Reptiles in the prairie come in all shapes and sizes. They include frogs, toads, lizards and snakes. Some of these reptiles eat insects, some eat birds and other small animals, and some eat each other. 

Reptiles are cold blooded animals that hibernate in the winter and come out of hibernation during the spring, summer and fall months. Almost all reptiles lay eggs, there are very few exceptions.
